Telliskivi Creative City surrounded by Kalamaja and Baltic Station Market is one of the hottest places in Tallinn, recommended by most – if not all guides. Hektor is right at the heart of it meaning whichever direction you take you’ll end up somewhere interesting.

What the Hek?
This district is developing at such speed that keeping up is a challenge even for the locals. To help you find the best and most exciting places, we’ve made a map “What the Hek?”. Those neighbouring places of Hektor are our favourite. Places where we’re always happy to go back to. We renew the map twice a year. Get your copy from the lobby.
What to do? What to see? If Tallinn is new to you, here are some good overviews that can help you navigate the city better:
- Classical “TOP 10: must-see sights in Tallinn” focused on the Old Town, from Tourist Information Centre.
- “Like a local” tips about Tallinn. By the way, did you know that “Like a local” started from Tallinn?
- The Ultimate Tallinn Travel Guide on travel blog Hidden Tallinn.
- Tons of information about Tallinn and different activities on Visit Estonia site.
Public transport and parking
Reaching us by public transport is super easy! Hop on tram nr 4 from the airport or bus station and get off in the stop called Hobujaama. Then switch to tram 1 or 2 and get off at stop Telliskivi. Our entrance is about 20 steps from Telliskivi tram stop facing Telliskivi street and Rimi Supermarket. If you arrive to Baltic Station by train keep to the left, pass the market and you should already see Hektor (about 2-minute walk but don’t quote us on that).
Are you with a car? Aim for Telliskivi 62. Parking around Hektor is free for one hour with the parking clock. The Euro Park parking zones closest to us are EP92 and EP110.
Did you cycle here? Awesome! We’ll find a place for your bike somewhere in the hotel.
